We have a range of measures in place to ensure your safety and security while attending an event at Middlesbrough Town Hall. This includes bag searches, CCTV and trained security personnel.

We advise that you arrive no later than 30 minutes before the event begins, to allow time for our security checks.

You can help our checks go more smoothly and avoid delays by only bringing essential items to events. We’ll confiscate any prohibited items, or items which we think could cause danger or disruption to the event or other audience members. You may also be refused admission.

If you refuse a security search, you’ll be refused admission to the event and you will not be eligible for a refund.

All personal belongings are the owner’s responsibility whilst on the premises.

Alcoholic refreshments are available from our licensed bar, and only alcoholic drinks purchased on the premises are allowed into the venue.

If you arrive late, you may be asked to wait for a suitable break in the performance before taking your seat.

We have a no smoking policy in accordance with the law. This includes electronic cigarettes.
